Our Culture

The one thing that comes to mind when you meet or work people from CCS is that this group “has a good heart and is focused on doing the right things.” You can be proud to work for and with the team at CCS. Our clients know we are accountable and reliable. Our people can count on being treated fairly. Our patients receive the treatment they need and the respect they deserve.

When new team members join CCS, they are going to experience a new level of orientation. CCS understands maintaining our competitive advantage in the marketplace means we must effectively engage and retain our people. Critical to the future success of any new employee is her or his initial experience with the organization.

To start team members on the right path, CCS offers a three-part on-boarding process:
1) orientation 2) on-the-job training 3) follow-up

New employee orientation training ensures employees are adequately prepared to accomplish assigned job responsibilities and function accordingly in the correctional environment. Expectations are communicated from day one.

Team members find working at CCS so many things – fulfilling, challenging, inspiring. Members are often overheard saying they have never worked so hard, but have never wanted to - before coming to CCS. We celebrate the victories, large and small. Veteran’s Day is a holiday because we should honor those who have served our country. We eat cake because birthdays are important. Managers lead by example and managers are judged by how they accomplished something as much as what was accomplished. Team effort is not just lip service at CCS. It is a way of doing business... it is our culture.
