Correctional Healthcare Companies Statement on Medication Delivery Policies

Appleton, Wisconsin – CHC’s policies regarding medication delivery continue to be consistent with NCCHC standards. Although CHC is unable to comment on specific patient cases due to privacy laws, a qualified practitioner with independent clinical judgment is involved in medication matters within the jail, including those matters discussed in the report issued by the medical consultant engaged by the Outagamie Sheriff’s Department. CHC has met with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department to discuss inaccuracies contained in the report, as well as any preliminary concerns they might have, and looks forward to further discussions with the families of inmates regarding their concerns.
