Correct Care Solutions Expands Footprint in Massachusetts
Boston, MA – This week, Correct Care Solutions announced the addition of more than 700 employees at 17 sites in Massachusetts, expanding their partnership with the Department of Correction to provide high-quality health care for nearly 9,000 patients.
“Correct Care Solutions is excited to welcome so many highly trained clinicians to the team,” said Jerry Boyle, CCS Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board. “Building off the success we’ve seen at Bridgewater State Hospital over the past year, we are proud to expand our partnership with Massachusetts to provide high-quality care for the state’s most vulnerable citizens.”
Earlier this year, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and the Department of Correction joined CCS to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Bridgewater State Hospital transition. Under Governor Baker’s leadership, Massachusetts partnered with CCS to transform Bridgewater from a prison to a hospital and improve quality of care for persons with serious mental illness. In the first year, Bridgewater State Hospital significantly reduced the use of restraint and seclusion, instituted a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed treatment program, and improved the facilities to provide a more therapeutic setting.
